Resumo

This research studies how and to what extent the technical and technological aspects linked to the digital competences of the European Digital Competence Framework are incorporated into the design of postgraduate programs in Political Communication in Latin American universities. Through a mapping carried out between February 8 and March 2, 2022, of the ongoing programs, a content analysis is carried out to analyze these competencies in the selected postgraduate courses, a total of 31 in 10 countries. As main results, the following aspects are identified: Argentina and Ecuador as the countries with the greatest offer of master’s degrees in Political Communication, attendance and theoretical-practical emphasis; likewise, the programs offer tools that allow the achievement of digital skills at high levels, within the standards established by the European Union.
