Resumo

The nomad is one of the most interesting "mythical" figures in 20th century literature, art and philosophy. This text explores Deleuze and Guattari's concept of nomadology along three vectors a) political b) epistemological c) artistic. Whether as an insurrectionary revolutionary, an itinerant alchemist or a utopian artist, the nomad is a polymorphous concept that can still be used today to build new war machines, new possible worlds and new architectures of the present. First, nomadology will be interpreted as a form of exteriority that problematises the reproductive logics of the state. Secondly, two epistemological paradigms, the haptic and the optical, will be opossed. Finally, it will allude to the suggestive image of the nomadic artist-scientist par excellence: the alchemist.
