Zusammenfassung
Relationships between foreign]origin and native youths are scarce and hard to consolidate. In general, the relationships between natives and migrants, and within migrant collective, are endogenous and asymmetrical. However, the reality offers varied personal, collective and social situations and, in consequence, the study of relationships (gface to faceh or mediated) requires specific methodological strategies. In order to complete the fieldwork of the research project Migrant Youthfs Online Social Relationships from the Perspective of Interculturality (reference CSO2011] 24376), we created a new methodology taking into account the focus group. It includes three research tools: focus group, previous individual questionnaire and a workshop. The aim of this text is to explain the highlight methodological reflections that the development of the fieldwork arose. This paper deals with the sample (composition and size) and with the moderator, who also may conduct the group activities, whose task is similar to that of an intercultural mediator.
