Resumo
The historical memory of 1936 and Francoism continues to be a latent problem in society. Considering the training possibilities of this kind of socially conflictive issues, we propose its work in education, beginning with primary education. This requires a refocusing of teacher training towards critical thinking in line with the defence of human rights and an alternative use of methods and sources
