Resumo

The adult players� activity pattern, in male and female, has been studied in basketball, but there are not some studies that have focused his attention on the analysis of the players displacements of youth sports. Having the knowledge of the demands physical of this sport would allow the creation of training programs according to the characteristics of the children with these ages. The aim of this work was to analyze, in a descriptive way that the players experience during the game in the trainings in minibasketball (Age M = 11.25 years; mass: 38.7 ± 9.44 Kg; height: 1.43 ± 0.08 m and IMC: 18.7 ± 3.14), by means of the analysis through system video. In the study there were taking part a total of 12 players, and there were analyzed one games that are disputed during the real competition. The obtained results certified that the minibasketball is a intermittent sport speciality, in which the rate of work - rest was of 1:1.3. The application of task, during the training, which reproduce the intensity of the game during short periods of time (not superior to one minute) would assure a high intensity of work during the trainings.
