RESEARCH LINES Thin structures: modelling and simulation of structures composed by elastic, viscoelastic or viscoplastic beams, plates and shells. Contact mechanics: mathematical modelling and numerical simulation of contact, friction, adhesion and wear problems in elastic, viscoelastic and viscoplastic structures. Analysis and programming of numerical algorithms for computer solving models of elastic, viscoelastic or viscoplastic solids: finite elements, finite differences, meshing, data preprocessing, postprocessing and analysis of results. Mechanical design and numerical simulation in biomechanics: numerical simulation and mathematical models of the human mandible, bone formation, blood circulation, car steering wheels, orthodontics, brackets Consulting for administration: evaluation of economic offers in competitions or contracts, tourism management.
