Abstract

Reflections are presented on memory and history and their problems: oblivion, exclusion, silencing, concealment or invisibilization of women. Based on feminist and gender studies, the reconstructive/constructive task is discussed, with special emphasis on the lack of transmission, and on history and memory as active and prospective constructions. Furthermore, looking to the future, the paper shows the need for transmission and information networks, personal and professional, institutional and alternative.
