Resumen
University orchestras are institutions within universities that promote musical practice among higher education students and are an educational agent that contributes to the complementary training of students. The aim of this study is to analyze the level of self-esteem and Soft Skills of the performers of university orchestras based on a series of formative variables to know their characteristics. For this purpose, a sample of 201 interpreters of university orchestras in Europe was used. Among the main results we observed that self-esteem does not show significant results, however Soft Skills are benefited in this type of performers, concluding that this type of institutions are an excellent training complement for the development of university students.
