Resumo

This work is part of the mini-symposium: Transfer experience within the Cenit program: Numericalsimulation of electric machines. The purpose of this mini-symposium is to show a transfer experiencewithin a Cenit project framework: Lifting Technology Research “Net Zero” (NET0LIFT). This is an interdisciplinary project funded by the Basque company Orona and supported by the Ministry of Scienceand Innovation through the CDTI. Orona is a leading group of international standing in the Europeanmarket whose business focuses on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance and modernization of mobility solutions, such as elevators. The goal of the project was the development of technologyaimed at achieving ”a sustainable lift” (zero energy elevators), with the participation of several companies, universities and institutions. In particular, the task assigned to the USC research group was aimedat developing mathematical tools adapted to the electromagnetic and thermal analysis performed in thedesign stage. This presentation deals with the first of these objectives.
