Resumo

Suharria ez den beste lehengai batzuen ikerketen areagotzeak, historiaurreko baliabide litkoen ekonomiari buruzko gure ezagutza zabaldu du. Narratba berriak ari dira sortzen arroka hauen inguruan izaten ari diren zenbait garapenei esker: diziplina geoarkeologikoen bidezko arroka hauen karakterizazioa, artefaktuetan ezaugarri teknologikoen identfkazioa eta hauek tailla sekuentzietan duten espazio- eta denbora-antolaketa. Azken hamarkadetan lan hauek garapen handiagoa izan duten arren, oraindik urriak dira. Tradizionalki, lehengai horiek, besteak beste, kuartzoak, kuartzitak, korneanak, kareharriak edo arbelak, baliabide alternatbotzat hartu izan dira suharririk gabeko lurraldeetan. Hala ere, lehengai hauek mundu osoan zehar aurki daitezke eta rol desberdinak dituzte. Aztertzeko protokolo estandarizatuen gabeziek eta suharrian zentratutako noranzko bakarreko perspektbek harri horiek ikertzen dituzten lanen errepresentazio eskasa sustatzen dute, baina baita artefaktu horiek barne hartzen dituzten giza ondorio eta narrazioen urritasuna ere. Lan honen bidez, Rock and Roll: 13th Internatonal Symposium on Knappable materials ekitaldiaren barruan antolaturiko “Understanding Non-Flint Raw materials: Characterisaton and Technological Organisaton” saioan izan ziren aurkezpenak eskura daitezke eztabaida zientfkorako. Bederatzi komunikazioetan bildutako informazioak metodologia berriak eskaintzen ditu suharria ez diren lehengaiak aztertzeko. Era berean, harri horiek ulertzen eta horietan konfguratutako artefaktuen antolaketa teknologikoa aztertzen ere laguntzen du. Besteak beste, ondorengo gaiak aipatzen dira: material litkoa kudeatzeko mekanismo konplexuen identfkazioa, hornikuntza-sistemen aldakortasuna, baliabideen osagarritasuna, adierazle krono-kulturalen zehaztapena edo material bakoitzaren izaera espezifkoa ulertzea. Gainera, lehengai multzo horri emandako terminoei buruz hausnartuko dugu, baita material horien ikerketan jarraitu beharreko norabide berrien inguruan ere
