Resumo

Objetivo: Sex trafficking and prostitution are two closely correlated realities thatrepresent a violation of human rights with a relevant gender perspective. Method: 109court ruling made between 2010 and 2019 by different Spanish Provincial Courts wereanalysed, which refer to crimes of coercive prostitution and human trafficking with thesame purpose of women of legal age. 214 presumed victims were found. Variables relatedto victims, the judicial process and the victimization process were coded. Results:Descriptive analysis and 2 were carried out to study the factors that influence theexecution of said sexual practice, as well as the association between different types ofvariables. In addition to the gender perspective, demographic, social, economic, cultural,and political factors also influence, increasing the victimization of the person whoengages in prostitution. The implications for the intervention with these groups arediscussed. Conclusions: The implications of the results for victimization are discussed.
