Abstract

We present a list of 23 species of the families Limoniidae, Pediciidae and Tipulidae (Insecta: Diptera) collected in 2016 in Teruel province (Spain). Of these, Ellipteroides adrastea Starý & Mendl, 1984 is recorded for the first time from the Iberian Peninsula, and Erioptera lutea lutea Meigen, 1804, Gonomyia conoviensis Barnes, 1924, Molophilus bifidus Goetghebuer, 1920, Symplecta hybrida (Meigen, 1804), Dicranomyia goritiensis (Mik, 1864), Thaumastoptera insignis Lackschewitz, 1940, Dicranota claripennis (Verrall, 1888), Tipula cava Riedel, 1913 and Tipula subfalcata Mannheims, 1967 are first records for Aragón. Also included are biogeographic observations about some of the species.
