Abstract
This paper focus on topographic models using photogrammetric techniques to determine the active geomorphological evolution of coastal environments.During the last decade have been incorporated new techniques and methods based on automated digital photogrammetry (SFM onwards) These proceedings had improved the evolution studies quality in environments with dynamic geomorphological processes. The workflow consists to automatic identification of common points between overlapping photographs to thus obtain metric and geometric characteristics of the photographed sector.SFM doesn't need orientation data or 3D camera locations to reconstructing scenes, however the traditional photogrammetry needs orientation data. Further, SfM is better than other techniques for him low cost and optimization doing topographic models (i.e. terrestrial laser scanner, total station, differential GPS, airborne LiDAR).We applied SfM techniques over A Capelada's cliff (A Coruña). This test is able to model the actual topography. We call this moment like state zero (T0). With the new models developed at a later date to T0 (T1, T2, T3 ... Tn) we'll know the rate of change.
