Resumen
This paper gives new data about the Bell Beaker pottery in the hinterland of Galicia based on the excavations of "Castro de Orelas". The meaning of a "Bell Beaker complex" and its chronology are discussed. The autochtonous character of the galician Bell Beaker, and its problematic chronology, resulting from settlement changes corresponding to a more systematic exploitation of lowlands and to more sedentary communities, is stated.
