Abstract

Industry and building usually, in developed societies the second sector by the level of value-added. Their evolution depends on mainly on three factors: accumulation of capital (both physical and human), organization of labor market, and the rate of innovation and technological change. In this study we analyze the relationship between the sectoral productivity and human capital measured through the education level of population. For this purpose we estimate and present an econometric model with a panel of 12 NUTS III for the Euro-region Galicia-North of Portugal.
