Abstract

Tunnel restorations are suitable preparations for treatment of early incipient proximal caries. In this paper the clinical technique of realization with reinforced glass ionomer cements is shown. The access is made from occlusal surface maintaining intact the marginal crest. This means a big saving of dental estructure avoiding the possible damage that could be occasioned when the point of contact and the marginal crest are reconstructed. We consider that it is the most accurate preparation for this type of lesions.
