Abstract
Ectodermal dysplasia (ED) represents a group of congenital anomalies that afect hair, skin, nails and teeth. The prevalence for the hipohydrotic ED is 1/100.000 of births. Tooth agenesia is a usual feature in patients with this morfologic defect, that provokes in many instance an atrophy of alveolar bone that challenges the possibility of oral rehabilitation with osseointegrated implants. Other caracteristics are alterations in tooth shape, retined teeth, etc. that involves the necesity of interdisciplinary treatments to achieve biology, funcional and aesthetic success. The aim of this article is to present two cases of ED treated with osseointegrated implants.
