Zusammenfassung
This paper analyses the evolution of Galician industry during a significant part of the 1990s by comparing the main macroeconomic variables of the different industrial groups. That com-parison is the basis to understand the perspectives of each group in the next decade. The results re-veal a positive evolution of the garment industry sector and the difficulties of food and extraction--energy sectors. In a complementary way the existing divergences in the statistical sources are shown and thus in accordance with the statistical source used, the results could be even contradic-tory.
