Resumen
This paper shows the results of the introduction of the gender approach in a practical activity of the subject Economic History of Contemporary Spain of the Degree in Economics (USC) during the academic courses 2015-2016 and 2016-2017. In order to contribute to the visibility of women's paid and unpaid work and their contribution to the economy, we have scheduled the preparation and oral presentation of a report on female labor participation from the beginning of the 20th century to the present. First, we explain the development of the activity and then we show its assessment based on a student survey. The activity has contributed to a deepening knowledge on gender issues and the visibility of women in different areas. It has also promoted the acquisition of skills included in the teaching guide of the subject.
