M.A.R. is the acronyms in Spanish language meaning of Multimedia Animation and virtual reality. M.A.R. research group is integrated in the System laboratory of the Technological Research Institute at the University of Santiago de Compostela USC, Spain. The Systems laboratory was founded by Dr. Carlos Hernández Sande and Dr. Juan E. Arias, chair professor and professor of the computing. Dr. Hernández and Dr. Arias are two of the five cofounders of the Technological Research Institute (TRI) at the USC. MAR research group is actually coordinated by professor Dr. Julián Flores. It focus on applied research and technology in the areas of Computer Graphics, and Human Computer Interaction.
