Resumo
In this work I will try to show that visualization keeps on being of great interest for future investigations in the field of geometry and spatial reasoning. A brief overview of the background will remember us those topics that have been studied in this field and those research lines that are still open. To finish I will show the results of a recent investigation that show us deficiencies of future teachers in this field and the importance of planning and developing training activities.
